What do we mean by citizenship?
Citizenship, the way we mean it, is not about where you were born or what documents you have. It's about how you show up to make American life worth the pursuit. It's about knowing your values, understanding the systems around us, and having the skills to change them. And then passing it on.
Why should you attend The Weekend?
To be inspired, to renew your civic passion, to learn how to lead and be an effective change agent, to make new connections, to meet colleagues working on civic education and engagement, to hear new ideas, to be motivated...because you believe in showing up!
